Content Creator Intern: Visual Design, AI Workflows & Content Support

Praktikum im Bereich Content-Erstellung

Visual Design, AI Workflows & Content Support

Remote  ·  20+ hours/week  ·  Minimum 6 months  ·  Unpaid internship  ·  English

Project 54 is a marketing and sales agency that builds sales-led, proof-first growth systems for complex B2B organisations, with a strong focus on the energy sector. We do not create generic content. We create buyer-relevant assets that build authority, reduce scepticism, and move prospects into qualified sales conversations.

This internship is for someone with a strong visual eye who wants to learn how AI-first content production works inside a real B2B growth system.

What this role is really for

We are looking for a content creator with strong graphic design judgement. You do not need to already know how to write advanced B2B articles, or how to apply SEO, AEO, GEO, or AI-search optimisation. We will teach you that. What matters more at this stage is your ability to make content clearer, sharper, more useful, and more visually credible.

This role is design-first. Visual taste, ownership, and the ability to improve the value of content are harder to train and matter most. Writing and optimisation are trainable after hire.

What you will do

  • Create visual assets for LinkedIn, website content, internal documents, client materials, and campaign support
  • Design carousels, one-page explainers, visual summaries, graphics, and content layouts
  • Help turn complex B2B ideas into assets that are easier for decision-makers to understand
  • Support article production by helping with structure, outlines, visuals, FAQs, and supporting assets
  • Suggest ways to make our content more useful for the end user
  • Work inside AI-assisted content workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, RunwayML, HeyGen, Arcads, ElevenLabs, and Canva
  • Learn how Project 54 writes for SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI retrieval
  • Work through a brief, draft, review, approval, publish, and archive workflow
  • Demo progress weekly so work stays visible and useful

What we will teach you

  • B2B article writing for decision-makers
  • SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-optimised content principles
  • Proof-first content writing
  • How to use AI as a collaborator rather than a shortcut
  • How to create content for long-cycle B2B sales
  • How to repurpose one core insight across Social, Email, Search, Website, and Sales enablement
  • How to create portfolio-ready work that can go live

Tools you may use

Canva · ChatGPT · Gemini · Midjourney · RunwayML · HeyGen · Arcads · ElevenLabs · Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets, Chat) · WordPress · GA4 and Google Search Console

You do not need prior experience with every tool. Strong fundamentals matter more.

What we need from you

  • Strong graphic design eye
  • Clear visual judgement and attention to layout, spacing, hierarchy, typography, and readability
  • Good written English
  • Comfort working independently without daily micromanagement
  • Ability to take a broad brief and suggest better ways to make the content useful
  • Willingness to show your process, not only the final output
  • Honest use of AI tools, with clear evidence that you inspected and improved the output
  • Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week
  • Minimum duration of 6 months
  • Comfort with an unpaid internship

Beneficial but not required

Chinese language ability · Figma experience · Video editing or motion design experience · Experience using AI creative tools · Interest in B2B, energy, industrial sectors, or sales-led marketing

What we do not want

We are not looking for someone who simply asks AI to produce the work and submits the result without thinking. AI use is expected. Cognitive offloading is not. You must be able to explain what you used AI for, what you changed, what you rejected, and why the final decision was yours.

We believe you should know exactly what this role demands before you commit. Shortlisted candidates complete a short practical task before interview, and we have made it public so you can read it now and decide whether the role is right for you.

The task is design-first and timeboxed to 3 to 4 hours. It asks you to turn a complex B2B idea into a clearer, more credible visual asset, with design notes, a short article outline, audience-value suggestions, and an AI workflow log. You do not need to complete it to apply — but reading it will tell you whether this is the kind of work you want to do.

How to apply

Send the following to info@projectfifty4.com:

  • Lebenslauf
  • Short cover letter (maximum 250 words)
  • 3 to 5 examples of visual work (university, personal, or professional)
  • Optional: one example of writing, or a short explanation of a project you created

Shortlisted candidates will complete the screening task above before interview. We select on role-relevant evidence only: portfolio quality, availability, English working ability, self-direction, AI workflow transparency, visual judgement, and task performance. We do not use nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or location as a selection criterion.
